Units
- Pascal (Pa)
- Kilopascal (kPa)
- Megapascal (MPa)
- Bar (bar)
- Standard atmosphere (atm)
- Pound-force per square inch (psi)
- Millimeter of mercury (conventional) (mmHg)
- Torr (Torr)
Notes and definitions
- Standard atmosphere = 101,325 Pa; bar = 100,000 Pa; psi = pound-force per square inch using standard gravity (≈ 6894.757 Pa).
- mmHg is the conventional millimeter of mercury (133.322387415 Pa) and the torr is exactly 1/760 of a standard atmosphere (≈ 133.3224 Pa); the two differ by about 0.000014 %.
- Absolute and gauge pressure are not distinguished: no gauge offset is applied. Negative values are accepted so that gauge vacuum readings can be converted.
